Open a desktop link or web link in the Web Client

To open a desktop link or web link in the Web Client, proceed as follows:

1. Select the desktop link or web link in the third-party application.

2. Save the desktop link or the web link in the cache (keystroke CTRL + c ).

3. With a click on

   Unknown Attachment

   you open the link dialog in the Web Client.

4. Paste the link address into the Insert link field (keystroke CTRL + v ).

5. Click the Open link button.
   OR
   press the key ENTER ↵ . The dataset is opened in a new tab in the Web Client.

If the link is invalid or the dataset could not be found due to your permissions, you will get a corresponding notification message.
