Description
Through the info tile “RSS Reader” RSS feeds can be loaded. The feeds can originate from the Internet and the Intranet and can also be accessed without Internet access of the client if required (they can be preloaded from the application server including images).

Settings
Hide navigation bar | Activated Navigating between and reloading RSS feeds is prevented. Deactivated The user has the possibility to navigate on the displayed RSS feeds and load new feeds. |

Start-URL | The full URL of the feed to be displayed when the tile starts (on the Internet or Intranet). |
Maximum number of articles | The maximum number of items to be displayed per feed. A smaller number accelerates loading. |
Proxy
Use public proxy | Selected A public proxy on the web is used for loading and parsing feeds. The feeds are not accessed directly, so only one URL needs to be shared between the server and clients. In this case the public service feedrapp.info will be used. This is open source and free, but can sometimes be limited in availability. An Internet connection to this service from the client is also required. |

Use application server proxy | Selected The CURSOR CRM application server's own proxy is used for loading and parsing feeds. The feeds are accessed directly from the server, so that all URLs to be reached must be released for the server. The clients themselves do not need an internet connection (in combination with the Preload images option). |
Ignore Cache | Activated The feed is reloaded when it is updated. This is slow, but new articles appear immediately in the feed. Deactivated The feed is loaded from the cache when updating (on all clients). This is fast, but new articles only appear daily. This option only applies in the case of Use application server proxy |
Preload images | Activated Images are downloaded from the application server and transferred to the tile, so that images can be displayed even without Internet access by the client. Deactivated Images are loaded from the client. Faster, but requires an Internet connection from the client to the image addresses. This option only applies in the case of Use application server proxy |
