Input fields in the search mask:

  • If you are in a search mask but NOT in a field with the condition "is-one-of" (e.g. activity status), the key ENTER ↵ triggers the search as usual.

  • If the current focus is in a search mask within a search field with the condition "is-one-of", the key ENTER ↵ takes over a value entered in the input field.

  • If nothing is entered in the input field, the search is triggered.

CTRL+SHIFT ⇧+[click]

The internal attribute name is copied into the buffer:

  • Label in detail mask

  • Fields in detail mask

For the HTML editor, you need to click on the toolbar.

Date and time fields

General

The date and time fields of the Web Client were provided with language-dependent input assistance. The formats used in the supported locales are:

  • de_DE (de): dd.MM.yyyy hh:mm

  • en_US (en): MM/dd/yyyy hh:mm

  • en_UK : dd/MM/yyyy hh:mm

(en_UK is also used for "it" in analogy to the Windows client)

All keys which could contain valid characters or which have been provided with a special input function (such as the space bar) are permitted during the input. If the input leads to a syntactically faulty string, which can also occur when inserting text from the clipboard, the input is discarded and the last value is restored.

After entering a full date or time component, the date or time separator is automatically inserted so that the date specification "01" or "01.12" is automatically changed to "01." Or "01.12." and the time indication "01" is automatically added to "01:" (in German locale).

Date fields

Button

Action

SPACE

If the field is empty or the entire value is selected, the date is replaced by the current date.

ENTER ↵
or
Exiting the field

If the field already contains parts of a date, the missing components are supplemented by the current date. An overflow correction is executed.

Example

The entry "33" will be interpreted as "33.10.2011" on "01.10.2011", which will become "02.11.2011" after the overflow correction.

+ -

If the field contains a full date, the value of the component in which the cursor "|” is placed, is increased by pressing ↑ or + and reduced with ↓ or -. An overflow correction is executed. If the cursor "|" is placed at the end of the value, the day component is always increased or decreased (even with MM/dd/yyyy).

Example

The input of leads from "3|1.01.2011" to "01.02.2011" and from "3|1.12.2011" to "01.01.2012". Analogously leads from "0|1.02.2011" to "31.01.2011" and from "0|1.01.2012" to "31.12.2011"

Time fields

Button

Action

SPACE

If the field is empty or the entire value is selected, the time is replaced by the current time.

ENTER ↵

or exiting the field

If the field already contains an hour value, the time is supplemented with "0" minutes. If the specification of the hour is greater than 23, "23" is still used.

+ -

If the field contains a complete time specification, the value of the component in which the cursor "|" is placed will be increased with activating the button or + and will be reduced with or -. The value of the components (as with a digital clock) is cyclically adjusted: The increase of "23" hours leads to "0" hours, the decrease of "0" minutes leads to "59" minutes.
